Check out this link in the information under GPA and indian grading.
You can also validate this information in iWES GPA calculator.Just enter your course as B.tech and your B.Tech percentage as 60%.It will give a result of 4/4 GPA
LOL, then its hilarious! Cause we who get 95% marks are considered in the same category as the people with 60% marks! WTF. US should improve their grading system!

Have you done the WES evaluation? I want to know more about it. I want to pursue Masters in Canada but I have only 12+3 years of education in India. Is there any way that WES can help me?

% isn't everything just sticking it was up to academics will result in clearing competitive exams not the company job competitions.

India is known for being stringent while checking papers, due to which you will find maximum students in a range of 60 to 75 (all 4 yrs aggregate). The BE score is normally higher. Also the distinction belt starts at 66. Try giving your exams under Pune university and let's see if you get your 95. Then I'll see if you really are worthy enough of your GPA. I'd abuse too, but that would be a waste of my energy.
If you think that our 60 is trash, we will see how deep in the dumps you are when u study under this university, bro.
