See the thing is, "safe" means the names in which you are almost sure to acquire an admit. Its is obvious that everyone would aim higher and thats what should be the case, a balanced list is one in which there are a few safe, a few mod and a bit more amb names. Of course you will get an admit from more than one mod or amb colleges, its just that keeping a few safe options is a better bet. You asked for a list of safe colleges and so i did. Of course you can get into those big names, no issues with that.

Yeah ur msg was very helpfull... but i applying for stanford or for example rice will not fetch me a admit right...so i asked what would be the ranks which are ambi but we can get into it...
yeah i got it the way to apply... i will make sure the best colleges in the safe list and i have pllaned 8 colleges to apply 3 safe 2 mod 3 ambi.. i think it works better...

Yeah that's what i m saying,.... I m not able to decide the rankings as far as now...
kindly suggest me with rankings i can apply and hopefully if lucky i can get an admit.

well its like you can apply to colleges i have marked amb, and drop those with marking of v.amb

That would be a safe bet worth taking!
