Guys pls do help me...out... I have some universities in my mind too...
1.NCSU
2. Rutgers State Univ-New Brunswick
3. Arizona State University
4. University Of Texas At Dallas
5. Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst
6. University Of Rochester
7. State Univ Of New York-Stony Brook
Programming languages known- c,c++, java, c#, sql, html, xml, css, jquery, .net
Now working in j2ee technologies based on liferay portal server and spring MVC framework. Pls do tell me whether i will be able to do MS in CS as im from an another stream.

Why don't you try for some big shot universities?? If i am not wrong, your GRE score should easily cross 1200 mark. Since you have good academics, certifications, projects and experience as well you can try for these universities....

University of Texas - Austin
University of California System
University of Pennsylvania
Cornell University
Columbia University
University of Pittsburgh

Don't worry too much about of your chances in getting in those university as your academics and experience should take care of it. And always remember that "YOU HAVE TO DREAM BIG". All the Best!

Thanks sherzil... I was enlightned of wat universities to apply, by ur mess . I will look in to the programs listed by the universities and den decide. But i think its better to have some safe universities right. Are all the universities which i had mentioned in my post are safe to moderate to apply?. If not pls do suggest me some... Grateful to u....

Well done m8!!!U have good GRE score and ur ug percentage is also pretty good. All in all you have a good profile.

So here'e my suggestion for you :

1. NCSU (dfntly...has one of the best MS in CS prog..pretty good university too) : Tough
2. Cornell Uni (worth a try) : Ambitious
3. Rutgers State Univ-New Brunswick : Mod
4. Arizona State University : Safe
5. University Of Texas At Dallas : Safe
6. State Univ Of New York-Stony Brook : Safe
7. State Univ Of New York-Buffalo : Safe
8. Iowa State University : Mod
9. John Hopkins university : Tough
10.University of Cincinnati : safe

Give a shot at the universities that i and harsha have mentioned but reduce some safe universities options as safe university is just for the sake of i20. If you can afford, try with 3 safe, 3 mod, 3 dream universities.

Select some safe,mod and dream universities from above list and apply. All the Best!
