write them asap. so even if the scores are low, u'll have time to rewrite...so start preparing now. 3 months should usually be enough....and why spring session? intakes are less for spring. Also, financial aids are usually decided in fall session itself. I'd suggest u try Fall 2013...cuz the number of courses would also be more.

Thanks for your Reply akshay .. Actually i wrote Gre in Jan but i got 290 in that. . Nw am appearing my B.tech exams .
It may not be possible for me to Go For GRE again . n one more i didnt take TOEFL yet ..
at this time if i wrote my toefl in this month ending also i am not sure that i will get admits .

Well spandana, frankly 290 is a litttle low. U may not get above average univs with tht. I'd strongly suggest u write ur gre again and aim atleast 300 to 310 above. Of course its not like u wont get admits! U will. cuz many univs give imp to gpa etc a well.

But if u write toefl now, its still late for fall 2012.

Are u sure u cant write ur gre by this May maybe? or even late june?

Spring sessions dont have lotta courses available. They have reduced intake. Almost 90% unis five financial aids only in fall session. BUT if the course u want is available in spring in a coll and if u can manage without financial aid, then go for it! because the number of applicants in spring session is lesser too.

If u ask me, I'd suggest u give ur gre agai in june (if u feel confident). And give ur toefl by june or so itself. Then start applying by nuvember. (The key is to apply early even if ur marks are good or bad). By december be done with it. and u'll have good chances of getting decents admits.

hi spandana, i think ur passport is readyy, first u have to book ur slot for gre before june.After that u have to book ur TOEFL/IELTS in july .after getting scores u need to search for universities and be ready with ur all certificates.eventhough its little bit tough for applyng spring. all the best

yes most of univ accepting ielts and it is easy compare to toefl,but toefl is a standard test and most preferrable test.In order to write IELTS u have to score 6.0 and above ,for TOEFL above 79 .its depend upon ur univ selection.I think its better to take IELTS and get above 6.0 ,its mandatory.keep in mind that spring intake is low cmprd with fall.
