Hi,

I have applied for Fall 2018 and got admitted to UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso) for the Master's Program in Civil Engineering as Research Assistant (RA). I shall be paid a nominal stipend to cover the tuition fees and living expenses at EL Paso city.

I currently have a full time permanent job in one of the Public Sector Undertaking (central Government Employee) in India in the core department with 5 years of experience.

Looking for genuine advice/ tips whether to go ahead with the Master's or to stay with the Government Job in India.

PS: I have enough personal savings to cushion for 1 or 2 years without job and my brother in law and family is staying in Florida with H 1 B visa for the past 6 years.
