Thread: H1b 2018 cap-gap

Hello , I am a graduated student from ACICS accrediated university , Currently on Initial OPT which is going to expire on June 1 2017 .

I applied for H1B-2018 in Regular (General) quota and my H1B got picked in the lottery.

1) Am I eligible for Cap-Gap Period, Until my H1B approves? And How can I know that Cap-Gap Applied to my status / SEVIS ?

2) Do I need to join other university for second masters , before my OPT expires ?

3) What if Incase my H1B got Denied in future ? DO I have any Grace period for Re-Initiating SEVIS by joining any university (or) Do I need to cross the border ?

Please give me your valuable suggestion, I am in dilemma what to do ... please respond soon
