Hi,
Kindly evaluate my profile and suggest some universities which u think can give admit.
Also, kindly suggest the funding oppurtunities with the respective universities.
GRE: 1140(Q:800 V:340 AWA:3.0) --- 3 year old GRE score (dated feb 2009)
TOEFL: expecting 90+
B.Tech(ECE) :79.29%
12th: 96%
10th: 90%
Experience: Working in IT MNC (2 years)
Interested to pursue MS in EE
univs interested: Texas Tech univ, Oklahoma State Univ..
Thanks in advance..Please suggest whether th 3 yr old GRE is considered or not..
it is considered, since the score is valid for 5 years.
3 yrs would be fine since u have 2 yrs work exp to show for tht period.
Also, EE is fine. But what stream?
from the 2 tht u mentioned, both are gettable.
try the profile evaluation section in msinus.com...for ur profile i suggest u can aim for much better univs. even unis like Arizona state, Iowa state, maybe USC etc are within reach. Am not sure if ur verbal score will pull u down, but "generally" ppl feel that 350 verbal is passable as long as ur toefl is ok and ur quants are good.

Thanks a lot for ur replies akshay and maximus199..
MS EE stream: Telecommunications.
Can u please give me the list of all the streams available in MS EE?
I am also concerned about the funding opputunities in Univs.
So, please tell me the univs which u think can provide admit with funding for Spring 2013.
there are so many! embedded, wireless, communication, analog vlsi, digital vlsi, photonics, optics, antenna engineering, THz study, microwaves, microelectronics, nanoelectrinics.....
I suggest again that u check the profile eval link i posted in my previous reply. then ask ur next ques. Funding will be tough. Actually it'll almost be non existent for spring intake.
Also, spring intake is only if they have remaining seats or if they have extra courses. so choose ur unis and post here.
