Your yourself have to select programs based on your interests. You can take a mock test for GRE. It's available on the ETS website. If you're satisfied with your score then, take another mock test( this will be more like a confirmation of your final score). If you are not satisfied with your score after the first mock test then you need to improve on the weaker sections, before taking the next mock test.
ETS( the maker of GRE and TOEFL) offers mock test for the TOEFl. I think you need to buy their book for this. Again, you get an instant score after the test for two sections(reading and listening). There are four sections in total - Reading, Speaking, Listening, Writing. The reading and listening scores you get in the mock test will most probably replicate you're actual test scores. For writing and speaking, check out some videos on Youtube. One week preparation is enough for TOEFL( depends on the current level of English language skills though).
Most important point for you and also for other aspirants: You can complete the entire process(tests as well as applications to universities) within 3-4 months without any stress.
Since you're applying for fall 2016 and I think you'll be done applying before October you chances of getting an admission would increase and also you may get scholarships from universities( I'm not guaranteeing anything here).
