    ms in cs 312|110

    Hey,
    can u pls suggest some universities for my profile? applying for MS 2015

    GRE-312(Q-163, V-149)
    TOEFL-110
    Academics-70.1(till 6th sem)
    Also 1 back.
    UG Course- B.tech in CSE from GGSIPU,Delhi
    PG course- CS,CE,SE(anyone)

    No work exp.

    1 conference paper due to be published.

    As it is already late, so it would be of great help if you could also mention deadlines for the universities in which I can still apply.


    A few i wish to apply in

    UT,Dallas
    San Jose state univ
    UT,Arlington
    Colorado state university

    Pls suggest more, and what should the best choice for me?

    All universities listed can be considered as safe for your profile. Apply early to increase your chances, other universities that you can consider,,

    Syracuse - Moderate
    University of florida - Ambi , Feb 1
    University of Houston - Moderate/good chances , till march
    University of Illinois, chicago - Moderate, Feb 15

    Research the university website for your particular field of interest, for more information regarding deadlines refer the article below

    Thanx a lot!!

    Can you tell what is the difference between university general deadline and dept. specific deadline?

    I also wanted to apply in Arizona state university, and similarly in some other state universities

    but the dept. deadlines have already expired while the general deadlines are still valid.

    Does this mean general deadlines are not relevant??

    you always have to consider Program Deadlines first, if program deadlines are not provided for your specific department then you have to refer General deadlines

    ASU deadline was December 1st, You cannot apply to it now as program deadline already expired. Hope this helps!
