Thread: profile evaluation for MS in CS

TOEFL- yet to receive
engg- in Electronics and telecommunication with cgpa of 6.6/10
session to apply for- spring 2016

please suggest me some good universities for pursuing MS in computer science field. what are the extra things that i have to do for switching the field from EC to CS?

the Gre is good however your CGPA is on the lower side, try and increase your CGPA . please dont look for a shift from EC to CS it would hamper your chance of an admit and a subsequent visa. Most of the top universities now are requesting the students to complete the pre requisites for cs and are rejecting applicaitons, if the student hasn't taken the prerequisite subjects.
SUBJECTS LIKE COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE, THEORY OF ALGORITHM ETC
so i would stay stick to the core.
