Question Does PG-DAC (Post graduate diploma in advanced computing) from CDAC considered valid for applying in Universities.

    Hi All,

I have completed BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application) from University of Pune. I Scored 53% in BCA. Then i completed PG-DAC (Post Graduate diploma in advanced computing) from CDAC (Center for Development in Advanced Computing) most of you might know it is a government organization and it is hard to complete. I scored B+ (i.e. 64%) in PG-DAC. Since March 2013 - till date i have been working as a Software Engineer in an MNC.

My complete years of education is of 15 years excluding PG-DAC. The PG-DAC duration is of roughly 8-9 months. There are no educational/work gaps in my career.

My question is will US Universities consider my PG-DAC degree as the 16th year of my education. Or will they even consider the degree at all in any case. Even as an add on advantage to my profile.

My GRE score is 286 and TOEFL score is 84.

    Please advise & Please Help.

    Thanks
