Any kind of input, evaluation is welcome
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this whole process. And quite frankly, I find it a little intimidating. I wrote GRE in July, 2011. Have a score of 1350. Haven't written TOEFL yet. I have a percentage of 74.5 in my B.E(CS), 90.8 from PU and 91.5 from ICSE, Grade 10. I'm interested in Networks and Telecommunications.
Currently, I'm working in a Telecommunications-based software company. I would like to pursue an MS in Networks. Kindly provide some insight on what my chances are and what kind of universities I can apply to. If there are other branches of MS that I can apply to, please let me know.
If there's something else that you wish to add, please do so. I'm almost completely ignorant here.
Thanks a ton!

Thank you, Sherzil! I'll look into these. I don't have any research papers published. Would that decrease my chances in any of the universities you've mentioned?
That's great! Thanks a lot!
Cheers!

Initially, I was planning on applying for Spring 2013. But then I heard many people asking me to go Fall 2013 instead. My concern is that my GRE score would be valid only till July 2013. So if I apply before that to universities, would there be any problem?

you wrote your GRE in 2011 right?? then how come it is going to end in 2013?? GRE Scores are valid for a period of 5 years right?
I don't know from where you got that info but it is valid for 5 years no matter what pattern you wrote so please go ahead and research on it as i am only 95% sure. The only thing that is valid for 2 years is TOEFL.
