Exclamation Profile Evaluation for Fall 2013

    Hi,

I plan to get admission in the FALL of 2013.
    My academics are as follows:
    10th 87%
    12th 89%
    B.E in IT(Mumbai University) 70%
I have no research experience as such.
I am presently working in an MNC IT firm and will have 1.5 years of experience till next FALL.
I am going to give GRE and TOEFL in the month of JUNE.

My question to you is do i have a chance of getting into really good colleges like :
    University Of Texas at Austin
    Carnegie Mellon University
    Princeton University
Cornell University etc if i score very well in GRE or does my profile does not help me with whatever marks is score and if so how much should i aim for to have a chance at getting admissions into such colleges and if not then what other colleges should i aim for Computer Sciences with my profile.

Please help me get some clarity as to where i stand.

NO WAY.....You have to get atleast 335/340 in new GRE for a minimum of 5% chances of you getting admit in such universities and the main reason for this is that your profile is good but not that good and the majors also play an important role in admission. If you are looking for MS in CS, the chances remains the same and if you are looking for MS in Agricultural Engineering you will easily get admit. My advice would be :

    (i) Give your best shot at GRE and TOEFL and later apply these universities that i am listing below:

    University of Texas Dallas
    Florida State University
    University of California System

P.S : Its your choice to select the above university or else you can leave them and research on your own!

    All the Best!
