    MIS for Non-CS background?Work exp?

    Hi All,

    I am Btech(ECE) Electronics & Communications Graduate working in TCS now since last 1.4 yrs.
    Pls let me know whether i can apply for MS in MIS,and also can i make use of this work experience.

    You can apply for MIS. Work ex doesn't count much, but sometimes it is useful to get part time jobs.
    If you have 3 or more yrs of experience, it will be useful for easy admission into top colleges if you have enough scores.

    Thanks Ajay,but do i have any advantage with this experience in hand,as far as final placements are concerned.
    And where and how exactly can i bring this experience into notice of evaluators while applying for univ.(if at all it is considered by any univ.)
    Since I am from Electronics background,which one do you suggest as stream ----MIS or Electrical
