Thread: Need Advice on Universities for MS |Spring 2015 | GRE : 304 | Toefl : 100 | 2yrs Exp

Hello all,

Guys, I wrote my GRE Last week, Got 304(Verbal : 149, Quant : 155/A.W.A yet to recieve,) toefl :100

10th : 76 %
12th : 85%
B.Tech : in ECE with 70% aggregate
Won Many events in the state level fest which were organised by some reputed colleges. Of-course these were in different domain(embedded), not related to what I am applying for.
Q: is your college in to 20 in my nation :Ans= No

Currently working as Mainframe Developer/(SME for our application team)
Will be completing 2 years with December 31st.

My plan is to apply for the below universities.

could you please advice if have to reconsider the list of colleges that i came up with. Suggest if you feel any.

1. Boston University
2. Syracuse University
3. University of Texas – Dallas
4. Polytechnic Institute of New York University
5. Oklahoma State University
6. SUNY- stony brook
7. Illinois Institute of Technology

Atlast.. I still feel my Gre score would upset me, i am planning to rewrite as i did not prepare and showed up at exam centre with one week prep, please advice what will be my chances of admit for the first 4 universities if i manage a score of 315+ for fall.
