Thread: Profile Evaluation ASAP

Hi aanchal you have got a pretty good GRE....congratulations for that but i think you academics might come as an issue in the universities that you have listed above. Most of the universities are too ambitious. Have you got admit from anyone of them? if not, then have you applied? if not then my advice would be to change your university list completely. You will get admission in some good schools but in best i have a huge doubt on that. Research once more and see who accepts your profile. Do not get fooled by consultancy people.

Hi Sherzil, No. I have not applied to any of these universities. I have applied to
San Jose state University,
University of Texas Dallas
and Texas State University San Marcos

Some of the previously listed universities were selected based your university selection tool, and some were suggested by friends. The main reason for looking at those universities was the late deadlines. As we are already in march, many of the deadlines are already passed. I plan to apply to 3 more. could you suggest a few state universities I could apply to?

I am also looking at Michigan Technological university

Oh! I forgot to mention I'm looking at Fall 2012.

Aanchal You have good GRE TOEFL but academics in UG matters a lot. Try refreshing your Universities also try applying to Chicago State University, Univ Of texas Arlington, and University of North Dakota's CS program under Aerospace is awesome and offers lots of assistantship you will get through easily even with this academics.

These will be my preference but if you get admit in UIS, don't give a second thought, academics is good,university is well recognized and chances are their for some scholarship based on your GRE.
