I'm currently a college sophomore majoring in physics, but it's getting difficult to the point where I have to force myself to realize that my intelligence is too mediocre to be successful in this field. So in turn I've been looking at alternative career options and computer science/software engineering has piqued my interest.
I've done above average, grade-wise, in my physics classes, and done very well in my maths, and generally up to relatively advanced physics classes I've done well over-all in my academics. (GPA ~3.8)
I was wondering if someone can tell me how difficult a computer science major is relative to something like physics, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc. Or just if someone can give me their general opinion on the difficulty of this kind of major.
Computer Science is not difficult when compared to subjects like Physics. Computer Science requires logical thinking to succeed in the field.
