Hi,
Dear Group members,
I applied to Ohio State University for admission with financial aid. I have received successful email from OSU, but financial aid matter needs to be resolved to gain complete admission. I want to receive maximum financial aid from university because I dont want to overburden my family to pay heavy fees. Altough I can show financial assets/bank statement for my self & family for upto $60000 or more, but what do you suggest should I provide OSU with heavy bank statement or should I show less amount to receive more funding?
Will my showing of more or less financial assets determine my financial aid????
I am confused as I have these questions & options in mind:
Q1/ option 1: If I show less financial assets they might reject me as they might think that I cannot support my self during education period?
Q2/ option 2: Another thought may be that If I show less financial assets they might accept me as they might think that I cannot support my self during education period, therefore they pay me more to help fund my education.
Q3/ option 3: If I show more financial assets they might think that this student is wealthy enough and can bear financial expenses and do not need financial aid.
Q4// option 4: If I show more financial assets they might think that this student is wealthy enough and can bear financial expenses, however he deserves financial aid as he is qualified enough to secure admission.
Please reply on urgent basis what should I do to get maximum financial aid from OSU.
Regards.
If you can't show enough financial funds OSU will reject you. Showing lesser funds will not gaurentee or help getting fee waiver from OSU.
It's tough to get funding at Ohio State University at Graduate level. After first semester you have some chances of getting funding.
