Thread: Earliest date for when can we apply for F-1 Visa

Hello,
I want to know I have already recieved I-20 and would like to know when is earliest can I Get VISA appointment as I have heared that departure must be within 3 month of issual of visa?

Hi, You can schedule visa interview, 120 days prior to orientation date mentioned in your I20 and entry to US is 30 days prior is allowed.

This is according to my knowledge. If any one knows better than this are most welcome.
