A Master of Science (MS) in Health Administration degree program is designed to teach students how the basic principles of business, management, accounting and law can be applied to the healthcare industry. Graduates can find often employment at a wide variety of healthcare organizations, including hospitals, consulting firms and insurance companies.

Designed to be completed in two years, these programs should teach students how to effectively lead a healthcare organization with an evidence-based management mindset. Some programs even include an administrative residency component or a paid internship. Coursework can cover management, administration, leadership and teamwork.
