Luckily I didn't need to ...... I got thru
Hey congrats on getting through! If you don't mind could you please tell me you got accepted for which university and also which four do you think I can apply for on the day of my gre exam!
I have 77% in Btech till 5th sem.
I'm targeting a score between 310 -320 ... as per mock tests.
I'm working on supra saeindia car fabrication project. Also have two other projects.
Apart from this i'm good at 3d designing software like solidworks and proe.
I chose only cornell university to apply for till nw, i'm still looking for 3 more options.
Hi Aman,
Thank you very much . I got acceptance from Cornell and Penn State. It will be better if you apply in 7-8 universities as it will better your prospects. However, should you choose to apply in only 4 universities.... I think Penn State, Purdue and Virginia Tech are some of my suggestions... .
You have good grades ..You can always get them upto 80% till your final semester.... GRE score - anything above 317-320 is a good score..... However, individual scores break-up does matter a lot ... I would rate the factors influencing the decisions on applications in the following order :-
1> CGPA/ Reputation of Undergraduate school
2> Recommendations
3> GRE/TOEFL
4> SOP/CV
5> Publications/ Papers ( if you have a publication in a highly reputed journal then this factor can play a much more crucial role)
Best wishes for your future Gud luck
