Switching Stream from Bachelors in ECE in India, to MS in Computer Science

    Hello Friends,

    This is my profile,
    B.E - 63%
    GRE - Expecting 300+ (quant - 150+)
Work Exp - 1 yr as software Engineer

I want to pursue my ms degree in computer science, but some of my friends told that they are extra pre-requisites.

I have these question in mind...
    1) On an average how many pre-reqs should i take ?
    2) Will this affect my overall graduate performance ?
    3) Is there extra tution for prerequisites ? And do they count towards my graduate credits ?

For my profile, please suggest universities with minimum prerequisites

    Thanks

    1) On an average how many pre-reqs should i take ? - 1-5 depending on university. Most of them don't ask since you have work experience
    2) Will this affect my overall graduate performance ? - I don't think so. But it depends on course work at the university.
    3) Is there extra tution for prerequisites ? And do they count towards my graduate credits ? - You have to pay for the pre reqs too.

Thanks a Lot, for your advise.
    Much appreciated

Can you suggest some universities, with possibly fewer prerequisites for my profile ?
I have found Texas tech, having only 3 pre-requisites , i am looking for similar universities.

    Thanks
