I do not think so. A friend of mine use to take the ielts exam for two times and every time his score was 6. After that he took the tofel and got 85. Now he is studying at cornell uni.

I heard a friend of mine say that even though we do IELTS ,universities consider TOEFL as the first preference than IELTS. Is it true?
