    Question US admission: Requirements for TOEFL

    Hi

    I am a student from India and have scored 54 in TOEFL. I want to join for Masters in Electrical Engineering in US. I have completed my Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical) from India with an aggregate of 70%. Can you suggest me some universities where I would be eligible for admission. I have heard that some universities have less chances of approval from US Embassy. SO I would like to know the universities which would have a good admission rate from the Embassy too. I tired to research about the universities but could not find any useful one. It would be a great help if someone could shed some light on it.

    Retake ToeFL or take ielts which is easier. Low toefl score will be a drawback either from university or embassy perspective.

    I took IELTS and got 5.5. can you suggest me any university based on that plz?
