    CS or MIS which is having good placement and opportunities for me

    Hi Ajay,My Name is Hameed khan and I have completed my B.Tech (Information Technology) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University,Hyderabad in May 2011.
    My B.Tech Percentage is 60.12%,I have Some Queries to ask with you regarding my case is:

    I have completed B.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad India, In the middle of my B.Tech I immigrated to USA and became Permanent Resident(Green card) as my aunt sponser me,i am a local to chicago,il currently in Hyderabad India and willing to come back to pursue MS

    MY questions are:

    1.Is it necessary for me to take GRE /toefl or ielts for admission as a
    2.As a chicago local i am looking for UIC is it a good University in that location.
    3.I am a bit confuse wheather to go for CS or MIS as i am weak in maths,logical and programming,which will be good for me are both having the same demand,placement and job opportunities.

    I Appreciate you if you help me out of my case.

    First of all congratulations on your green card! Secondly, Yes UIC is among the top 3 univ. of Chicago region and the largest in size of whole Chicago. As far as my knowledge is concerned you still need to write GRE ( not sure about toefl/ielts though). Masters in Computer science will be my preference because of hot job market anywhere in the world and not just in USA but you need to be good logically,mathematically in both the courses i.e MS(CS) & MIS. Hope i have answered all your queries but be sure to cross check it as i am not 100% sure.
