    Dear NV

Please peruse the brilliant article written by Shri Ajay Cherkuri titled "Profile Evaluation for MS..." (link:Profile Evaluation for MS in US). Many of the Category D universities may fit you. Crystallise your selection after careful consideration of this write up.

Please have your GPA arrived at as per US grading system by "ordering your GPA" on-line in World Education Services (US $ 5/ approx.equivalent to INR 350). This is important since the first step is to fulfill the GPA benchmarked by individual university.

    Old GRE 300= 136q or 138 v.
    Old GRE 760= 160q or 170v. Converted to new GRE score you are at 306 (136q+170v) or 298 (138 v+ 160q).

I presume you scored 760 in q since you have not specified 760 pertained to q or v. 160 in q is a good score and is placed at 78 percentile. Your statement of purpose may highlight this aspect.

Please look into the following universities: (i) Gannon University, (ii) NPU Fremont CA, (iii) National University, CA, (iv) University of Advancing Tech (Temple, Arizona) & (v) Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (Dayton Beach Florida).

(ii), (iii) & (iv) above are safe for your profile.

    Good luck.
