u did many mistakes here (practical is practical, give reason for choice not vague answer by talking about the advantage of your selected university not the defects of the other, ) but you were lucky enough that the vo was kind enough to grant visa...you are not supposed to "impress" the vo the way you did (had your breakfast?!?!?) however the answer about the quality education was good. Treat the vo like just another human being. Smile (but not excessively), be fluent in your answer(not necessarily your accent) and answer with confidence and you will exit with visa

THE VO was thoroughly convinced that a dumbo like you has no chance to stay back in US after doing MS(provided u complete it).
