Reply With Quotegiving GRE early means you can apply earlier. But only GRE is not enough. U have to be ready with your recommendations, SOPs, Resume also. And not to forget TOEFL. If you apply earlier, yes ,there is a better chance of funding.

could u elaborate how early is sufficient.... I mean... how late can i give without facing any unnecessary repercussions and still getting ample time to practice more

When are you planning for MS? Spring 2014 or Fall 2014? In general, its always better to have your GRE and TOEFL scores 1 year before your admission year. This will help you to do in-depth analysis about each university you are planning to apply for and allow you to get funding.

I am planing to Apply for Ms in Fall 14. My GRE exam date is 16, Sept,2013. Im planing to give TOEFL within the next two weeks if the GRE.
