plz help me out.. can i get visa????

have seen ppl posting success stories in visa interview with lower profile... but i think ur academics is quite good apart from toefl and gre.. why not consider retaking them?? ur chances will hugely increase.. thats my point of view though...

but AFAIC ur GRE will hurt u a lot.. u have got only 131 in verbal - that's only scoring 1 mark out of 40 in verbal section! and i doubt any decent university will consider ur profile after that! look, i don't want to sound rude or anything,its just that my conscience tells me to inform a fellow applicant beforehand so that he can still make amends while there is time. deadlines are quickly approaching, and i guess to do well in gre and retaking it will take around 3 months prep for u. quant is decent though. besides, why waste ur chance when u can aim for higher unis with ur past good academics ?? desperately applying with the current profile will be a waste for ur hard-work in UG studies. if u can't manage the time then u should consider for Spring/Winter intakes or Fall 2014... thats my point of view bro..

i want to apply for fall-13,
and i m asking whether i hav time for retaking GRE or not..?

i m going in applying for the universities..

after appyling i will try to retake GRE in last or mid weeks of march.... hoping this time around 295( wat do u say about 295)
and i will report the score ...

1. if u can retake gre during mid of march and still apply :: well, i am not sure and the chance solely depends on the university's deadline u r applying to. so shortlist some universities according to ur profile ASAP and see for their deadline details. AFAIK January 15th was deadline for Fall 2013 application(International Students with scholarship consideration) for most of the Universities. As deadline tends to vary from Uni to Uni, u should better check out ur corresponding uni's deadline to decide.
2. GRE 295 :: that also depends! on which type of uni u r applying to ! if its a research oriented uni then i've heard that they want to see 300+ gre score in a potential candidate and even more for students with lower acads and/or in the absence of bolstering paper/research work. work hard and try for something around 300 and that will be excellent for u bro.
3. normal toefl cutoff for most of the unis is 80 (with 18 being individual cutoff for any group).. and 80+ will do u no good, rather than qualifying u, if u r not applying for RA/TAships.. u will need 26 at least in speaking section if u want to qualify as a TA.. so its upto u to decide whether to retake toefl or not and how much u want to score...
4. if u can apply and report ur scores later :: well,theoretically that's possible as long as u report ur scores to the uni before the final deadline...

so,all being said,decide wisely whats the best course of action for u.. ATB

my frnd said that online score reporting is enough for considering my admission..
