UIC
UMASS Amherst
are good.

Illinois Institute of Technology is ok not that great. Its good for civil i heard.
NJIT has VISA problems so better do not apply

I have almost same profile as yours but with 16 months experience @ Dell. I applid for Texas,Dalls and got admissions.
Arlington is very famous for Databases and Dallas for SOftware Engineering.

You can try for Arizona state university, North Western, University of california Reiverside also

UIC and Suny are ambi , GMU i do not know.. AM not sure of that.

Hi Sagy,

Try to get better TOEFL Score. So that u can compensate with GRE Scores. Make ur SOP LOR so well... Come up with tentative list of universitis.
Because its based on specialization that u want to do also..
