Profile evaluation for MS in CS/comp engg

    Hey,
I am interested in doing MS in comp science, but I hv done Btech in ECE...

    Here's my profile:
    GRE: 320 (QA: 168 VA: 152)
    Btech CPI: 76.3 (ECE)
    XIIth: 93.2
    Xth: 96.5
    Toefl & awa score: awaited
Good profile of extra curricular too

Now since I've done btech in a different stream, Will it affect my chances of being selected for CS?
Somebody suggested to me that I shd apply for Comp engg (which comes under electrical dept in all universities) coz i'll get a better uni for CE rather than CS...

Pls suggest what should I do??? Is comp engg as good as comp science? What are the job prospects??

Also pls suggest universities for both..

    Pls help!!

    Thanks,
    Yashika

    Hi Friends!!

My name is Ruchi Bhardwaj. I have done my PGDCA and MSc from kurukshetra university in 2006 with 65% but the problem is that my graduation simply from Arts and now i wanted to study further so is there any scope of having admission in some good university in US. If yes than also please let me know the doing of GRE and TOEFEL.

    Thanks in Advance
    Ruchi
