I have two very relevant papers (in VLSI domain) as first and second author.
1. Presented at Cadence's conference, CDNLive.
2. Presented at Texas Instruments Technical Conference.

Now they are not part of any Journal/research publication like IEEE as such and were selected for and later presented at vendor(Cadence) and internal(Texas Instruments) conferences respectively.

However they did involve considerable research work and also proved to be very useful to Texas Instruments.

I wanted to understand if not being a part of any journal, that can be passed on as a reference in my resume/SoP, would impact my profile and to what degree?

To what extent can it presented as research work and how much value would the Universities give to this work?
