    Help regarding masters in computer science

    Hi this is Manju. Currently i am in 3rd yr pursuing Comp Engg from Pune university....
    Will be applying for fall 2014...
    I am about to start with my GRE preparation.
    There is only one thought that holds me back and that is "WILL I GET ADMITS".

    And the reason behind such ques:Suffered a Year down n few b/l's...

    I need some suggestions from you guys on how can i improve my profile...
    This is the second time i am posting this...
    it's very sad to see a post getting a 400+ views but not a single reply...

    I'll be very thankful to see some suggestions coming from you all...

    As far as I know [from some of my friends], few downs in academic record shouldn't matter much if you can justify them and rest of your profile is very good. (like tech event participation, something outside syllabus).
    Anyways I am new to this GRE thing (just starting preparation) so you better get second opinion from other senior ppl.

    I'm working in Persistent Systems for last 1.5 yrs. Before that, completed BE Comp from VIT.
    Planning for GRE in Feb-March '13. Just started thinking abt PG (GRE)....so haven't started study yet...gathering information..

    The 1 yr won't affect ur chance of getting an admit .
    U can patch it up with good GRE and TOEFL score ..
    It would be better for suggestions if u have had ur scores , so for now concentrate on ur exams and get back once u get ur scores ..
