    Hi, I'm in my final year BE at BITS. I plan on applying for fall 2013. Can some please help evaluate my profile? I'm also interested in VLSI or Signal processing.
    XIIth = 96%
    CGPA = 7.6/10
    GRE = 329
    TOEFL = 108
    branch = electornics & instrumentation.
    5 1/2 months internship in HP Labs, India.

    I'm aware my CGPA is not very good, but if it matters at all, my GPA for each semester has been steadily increasing from 5.8(1st sem) to 9(in d last sem).

    How good (or bad) are my chances of getting into the following universities :
    Stanford
    UC Berkeley
    University of Illinois Urbana Campaign
    Georgia Institute of Technology
    Carnegie Mellon University
    University of Michigan
    Cornell University
    Purdue University
    UCLA
    UT Austin
    USC
    university of Washington
    university of Wisconsin
    University of Minnesota
    UC Santa Barbara
    UC irvine
    UC San Diego

    Also, (this might be a stupid question) since i am from instrumentation background, am i eligible for applying to VLSI & signal proccessing?
