    Please suggest some good universities for fall 2013.

    Hi

    My profile is -
    GRE - 325(V+Q), 156(V), 169(Q), 4(AWA)
    Undergrad - 7.61/10 (COEP Pune, Production Engg.)
    Workex - Will complete 22 months in May13. In Supply Chain Management in a Mech/Production company. Currently doing a Six Sigma project.

    I have shortlisted some universities -
    Georgia Tech, Michigan-Ann Arbor, Purdue, Illinois-UC, Texas-Austin, Texas-A&M, Virginia Tech

    Please suggest good universities for which I will get admits with this Profile.

    awesome profile dude !
    V tech is mostly for Mfg
    Dont just go by usnews ranking , If you need fin assistance and placement certainity you shall need to research more .
    Try browsing ******
    Try including more moderate and low univs

    hey plzzzz ne1 lemme know can a fresher btech can go for MIS in good univ..
    i have part time experience in teaching but not in relevant industry,, can it b shown or worthless..

    and other than MS in embedded and vlsi wchich are the courses whom an ECE graduate can look for in US..
    plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help..
    i am baffled..

    That's a very good profile. You should be able to make it into the top 10 schools, but do look into the top 25 programs if you seek financial assistance. I also suggest that you select programs based on your career goals - research or industry as each program caters to different needs. I also suggest that you keep the option of an MBA open as it will provide a bigger "push" to your career than an MS - but both are good options. Also, consider what you would be looking for after your MS. Job in US or India, etc.
