    Lightbulb need help!! deciding universities!!

    Hi friends,
    this is my profile
    GRE:314 verbal-152, quant-162
    TOEFL:110
    Acads:8.88CGPA till 6th sem in VIT university
    10th:88%
    12th:91.5%
    have done two commercial projects for a company called microcomm and have a lot of mini projects in the curriculum. Also have very good extra curricular activities.
    Area of interest:Embedded systems and networking
    I need help in sorting the universities
    I have sent my scores to
    1.USC
    2.Penn State
    3.Cornell
    4.UCSD
    Please suggest a few more universities for my profile.

    Hi
    Pen down some universities here. Then we ll have a look at it.
    USC(moderate) and Penn State(dream) are good choices, but the other two seem to be really difficult for you.

    i knew cornell would be difficult!! but UCSD?? i thought it was moderate!! also i'm planning to apply for CMU, NCSU, VTECH, UMCP, OHIO state, UIC and UTD, ASU!! what about these universities?

    CMU- Dream
    NCSU- Upper moderate (focusses on acads)
    VTECH- Dream
    UMCP- dream (Very very difficult)
    OHIO state- Moderate
    UIC-Safe
    UTD- Safe
    ASU- Moderate
    Do have a look at USC. It has a good MS-EE program.

    CMU and Purdue will be difficult.
