Red face University Suggestions and Bank Affidavit problem

Hello all! I have 319 in GRE, 115 in TOEFL, aggregate of 76% (B.Tech ECE) with a fairly good resume (PPT's, projects and stuff).
Could you please suggest some good Universities? And also, I'm having trouble understanding the Bank affidavit process. How can I show 25-odd lakhs in the bank account when we have immovable properties?
I would really be grateful for your replies.

Congrats on the nice scores! Are you applying for MS in Electrical Eng?

Anyway, you should show the amount required for 1st year tuition and living expenses (as mentioned in the I-20 document/university website) on the bank account. Liquid asset (cash + some FD/loan) can be shown, but immovable property like house/land does not count much. However, immovable property can prove useful in visa interviews.
