Thread: Extra Activities to boost up Resume

Hi
I am ECE (Anna University) 2nd year student, and very much interested in pursuing MS in Communication field...
1 of my university preference is Arizona State Univ...
But i am not sure what all extra activities other than paper presentation i need to boost up my resume...
Even some people suggested my to volunteer for some NGO works...

Please help me out... I really wanna study in US of A... & i want to really have a good resume so that i get accepted easily with Funding..
Please do tell me what all should i do...

National, Internation level technical paper presentations (Maily IEEE pulications) will booost up resume for Masters or PhD admissions in USA. You need to have good GRE score to get into ASU. ASU is offiering less funding for international students. And there are lot many univs which offers scholarships and funding .
