    Low TOEFL score(Speaking). Admit chances?

    Hi,

I gave TOEFL yesterday. Reading, Listening, Writing went well, but I screwed up Speaking and am expecting a low score (18-20). I'll get a 90+ total score in the worst case. Will low Speaking score hurt my chances of admit? Should I retake the test? I can score a 105+ next time.

My GRE score is 318(164-Q, 154-V, 4.0 AWA), my acads are good, and I'll have a 4 yr work experience by next fall. Planning to apply for:

    Arizona State Univ.
    North carolina st. university
    SUNY stonybrook
    SUNY Buffalo
    UT, Dallas
    Purdue Univ.
    UC, Irvine.

Please suggest if I should give toefl again.

It won't affect your admission chances much, but would almost certainly hurt your chance of getting a TA ship. If you don't care much about that, don't worry!
