AWA 2 is definitely low, at least 3 is recommended. You could probably retake GRE, if you get similar scores in Q and V but a better score in AWA, it would help.
Hi All,
Recently i had attempted GRE. Quant-167,Verbal-139,AWA-2.0....
Can anyone suggest universities for my profile?
I am having low AWA score....Does this effect my chances of getting a university seat or VISA.
Thanks in Advance...

Actually first time when attempted i got awa score of 2.5 but gre score is 298...where do i face problem with AWA-2 ....in VISA or getting university seat?
Generally for engineering AWA is not very important, so go ahead!
AWA should not have any effect on your admission or on VISA chances.
You should try :
1) UT Tyler (UT Tyler Graduate School | Admissions | Masters Degree, Certification, PhD, Online)
2) SUNY Albany
3) SUNY Binghamton
4) Tulsa University
5) Utah State University
Thanks Souravzz and Pritam.

I would ask you to do away with UT dallas (as you have a better profile ) and include UFL Gainsville and SUNY Buffalo.
My gre score is 310 (verbal :152,Quant:158 AWA:3.5 )
BE aggregate in Information Science is 80.35%
Can I make it to UFL Gainsville or Suny,Buffalo
I think you would make it to SUNY Buffalo.
But not sure about UFL
