Need help with university selection....
My creds:
Gre:301(160 in quant and 140 in verbal)
Toefl:100
Academics: 8.8
One year experience in IT industry....
Pls suggest universities for the abov ( comp sci) ......

Sharan your profile is too good except GRE. I suggest you to give GRE one more time as you hav very long time to apply. Dont let your profile go in vain becoz of GRE. Try to cross 310 or even 315. This will help you achieve very good universities. Atleast 305+ GRE score will help.

Oklahoma State Univ
Univ of Texas Arlington
Texas Tech Univ
Missouri Rolla
Univ of Nebraska Omaha

I dont think you will get UIC.... Improve yur GRE to 310+ and then yu will hav a fair chance....

Saran , As you have good acads you can try for UIC. I should say UIC is ambitious for your GRE score. As suggested by Raj since you have time you can try to improve your GRE score.
As per my knowledge, universities I would suggest are:
UIC(Ambitious)
UTD(Moderate)
OSU(Safe)
U of memphis (Safe)
Apply as earlier so that your chances for getting admit will be more.

Yes, that will be fine. You can apply to univs by end of december.
