Universities I have in mind are:
1) University of Massachusetts - Amherst
2) University of Missouri - Rolla
3) Illinois Institute of Technology
4) Oregon State University
5) Arizona State University
6) University of Texas Dallas
Ques:
1) What are my chances of getting into these universities?
2) Are there any other universities good for VLSI in which I have a chance?
3) What are my chances of getting funding in these universities?
4) Are the fees to these universities very high or moderate?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hey guys I desperately need a reply to this post.
Please help ...!!!
1) University of Massachusetts - Amherst---->mod/ambi( good place for dvlsi, so abit compitative)
2) University of Missouri - Rolla---->gettable
3) Illinois Institute of Technology---->gettable
4) Oregon State University---->ambi( less intake, best place for avlsi)
5) Arizona State University---->mod( mixed signal)
6) University of Texas Dallas---->mod/gettable( location advantage, but erratic with admissions apply early)
Check this,
-u minnesota---->ambi/mod
acc to my knowlege umr isn't great with vlsi.( correct me if i'm wrong), its well-known for power studies.
Thanks for the reply
I saw the course structure at "University of Missouri - Rolla" n liked it that is why i am applying there.
So if I apply only to these 7 colleges with good LOR's and SOP can I be sure to get a scholarship in at least one of the universities?
These days is hard to get any kind of funding, that too in vlsi trust me its really hard. But u may try once u reach here.
ATB
can you give an amount that will be spent on living expenses after the college fees ?
In all how much shall I assume to be spent if I want to pursue MS in US? Can you give the figure in INR
ur living expenses again depends on ur lifestyle & location. On an average, monthly living expenses come upto 400-600$.
Tution fee varies among universities. A public university on an average may cost 15-25 lac(without any type of funding). now u do the math....
