I do not think there is any need to take GRE again. You can easily get into good schools such as University of Texas at Tyler, CSU LB, UNT D etc and may even get assitantships in these schools. So do not worry about retaking GRE. Because when you start looking for jobs nobody is going to ask you about your GRE .

The GRE is on a low par when yu consider seeking admission for NJIT. Yu hav good acads. But I fear NJIT will be in dream univ category for you.
    However, yu can apply for
    IIT Chicago,
    Lousiana Tech Univ,
    Purdue Univ Calumet,
    Univ of Nebraska omaha,
    Univ of Texas Arlington,
    Univ of Houston Clearlake

If yu improve yur GRE score with 90+ TOEFL score, yu will get very good univ. Nevertheless, yu wil get admission with the present score too.

    Good Luck

Most universities will tell you on their website what their minimum GRE score expectations are. It is not a guessing game. So if you are interested in specific universities, visit their websites and see what scores they need. The other alternative is to apply while you retake the GRE. Let the university know that you plan to retake GRE. However, retaking will be helpful only if you have the time to prepare for the GRE. Otherwise, GRE tests are designed in such a way that retaking without preparation will not be helpful.
