somebody please reply guys!
HI,
here are my scores
- gre-1200
- toefl-111
- acads-53%
- 10th-80%
- 12th-85%
Now here are my questions.
how much does a percentage of 53% come up to when converted to gpa?
I am applying for the Masters program in Electrical or Comp engg with a research area in robotics or automation or control hopefully.I have attended many national level tech fest, workshops, internships and participated in many international competitions throughout my four years of engineering. So in a extra curricular way I have many certificates.I have vast knowledge in microcontrollers etc and hands on experience with programming embedded systems.
Here are the list of colleges I am applying for
- Univsersity of Houston-clearlake -safe bet
- SUNY new paltz -safe bet
- fairleigh dickinson -safe bet
- george mason university -moderate bet
- northern illinois university -moderate bet
- texas a&m kingsville -moderate bet
- rochester institute of technology -ambitious bet
- university of southeern california -ambitious bet
- purdue -ambitious bet
What do you guys personally think about this list and what will be my chances of getting admits. Please provide me a feedback and also other colleges that you'll think I have good chances of getting in.Even if the feedback is bad I'll be more than happy to accept it.
Also guys i need three LORs.Do you suggest I take all three from my engg. college itself or take a LOR from the training centre where I completed all my workshops and internships?
really sorry for the long post guys but i felt that this is the best place to clarify and thanks a lot for taking out time and going thru my post.
somebody please reply guys!
regd LORs: Take 2 from college and one from your training centre(which explains abt ur hands in pgming)
If u r keen abt Embedded system i guess u may have to modify ur list MS in Embedded Systems Universities in USA
