    Post Profile evaluation for fall 2013|gre 328|toefl 103|80.1|jntu university|

    Hey everyone, I wanted to know if I can get admission into certain universities mentioned below as well as the funding oppurtunities. Im interested in VLSI and Embedded systems.

    My profile :
    B.tech Branch: Electronics and Communication Engineering(JNTUH university AP INDIA)
    B.tech aggregate : 80.1 (No Backlogs)
    Gre : 1460(old), 328(new)
    Verbal: 670(old), 164(new)
    Quant: 790(old), 164(new)
    Toefl : 103(Reading: 26, Listening: 26, Speaking: 26, Writing: 25)

    I’m interested in the following universities mentioned below. Please help me out by suggesting the best universities suiting my profile which are safe and provide good funding.
    Ive shortlisted the following universities, please suggest if there are any other universities that are good for electronics suiting my profile.

    4: Georgia Institute of Technology

    11: University of Massachusetts – Amherst
    12: University of Illinois at Chicago
    13: University of Alabama- Tuscaloosa

    1: University of Texas at Austin - very tough. a little research paper publishing or projects will help u out

    2: University of Wisconsin- Madison - ditto (but u can still consider it)

    3: Carnegie Mellon University - tough but u should surely give it a try

    4: Georgia Institute of Technology - ditto

    5: Ohio State University - moderate chacnes

    6: Pennsylvania State University –Univ Park - moderate to tough

    7: Arizona State University - safe

    8: Iowa State University - safe

    9: North Carolina State University - moderate

    10: Rutgers, State Univ of NJ, New Brunswick - mod

    11: University of Massachusetts – Amherst - mod

    12: University of Illinois at Chicago - very safe

    13: University of Alabama- Tuscaloosa - ditto

    14: Colorado State University - ditto

    15: University of Florida; Gainesville - good chances and its a good school for EE

    16: West Virginia University - very safe (but muchy below ur profile)

    17: Texas A & M university, Kingsville - ditto


    U can try UCSD, UC Irvine, U Minn, Michigan state, U penn, Northwestern, Boston, USC etc

    I'm yet to write GRE exam and my IELTS score is 6.5 and i'm from Electronics and Communication background with 70.36% (no backlogs). In order to secure an admission in universities like
    1)Texas A & M university, Kingsville
    2)University of Florida; Gainesville
    3)Arizona State University
    the required GRE score?
    and can you please tell whether these universities have spring 2013 intake ??
