I am doing my final year in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amrita University, Coimbatore.
My B.Tech CGPA is 9.67/10.
GRE: 317 (Quant: 166; Verbal: 151; AWA: 3.5)
TOEFL: 103 (Reading: 27; Listening: 21; Speaking: 27; Writing: 28)
I have done an internship at Ericsson India Pvt. Lt. for 6 weeks.
I have done a couple of projects based on Communication.
My interested domain/major is Communication & Information Theory, especially Wireless Communication.
I am planning to apply to the following universities:
Rutgers, Penn State, Arizona State, University of Florida (Gainsville), University of Colorado (Boulder), Univ. of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and Univ. of Minnesota (Twin Cities).
I have got strong LoRs from my Professors. Two of them have a Ph.D. and others are M.Tech. (one from IIT, Kharagpur).
Advise me on my selection of universities.
UIUC may be a little tough. but u should definitely try...penn state and u minn are favourable...the others are very much gettable....u could surely try! ....u can consider columbia, purdue, cmu, u wisoncsin, UC SB, NCSU
