    Fall 2013|MS|Computer Science|Need help Evaluating my Profile

    Hi,

    I have the following scores

    Verbal reasoning:151
    Quantitative Reasoning: 155
    Analytical Writing: 4.5

    GRE: 306
    TOEFL:95

    B.Tech(UG): 74%
    12th: 62.4%
    10th: 79%

    B.Tech from Techno India, Under WBUT

    Achievements:

    • Numerous prizes in Programming Contests in many colleges and IIT techfests.
    • 1st Prizes in Robotics Competition in IIT's and other places.
    • Microsoft Student partner
    • Prizes and recognition in three hacking compititions, one orgganized by Microsoft and one from Verisign.
    • Website Developer and OpenSource project Contrubutor (yes I have active github profile)
    • Speaker for NASSCOM IT-Niketan and Evangelist



    1.5 Years Work Experience in IT

    Employer: Cognizant & Google India


    What are my prospects and in which universities can do I have chance?

    Can anyone please guide me?


    PS: I did my UG in Electrical Engineering and wish to do MS in Computer Science

    hello, what kind of schools are you looking for ? Are you looking for assistantships as well ?

    WIth the profile you have I can suggest you
    1) UT Tyler (For Assistantship and Tuition fees are really low) (UT Tyler Graduate School | Graduate Programs | Computer Science)
    2) UT Dallas
    3) SUNY Buffalo
    4) UFL Gainsville (Tuition is high but chances of getting assistantships are also very high )
    5) University of Tulsa
