Thread: Reg wrong copy SOP sent

Hi all,

I did serious mistake of sending a wrong copy of SOP both online and in packet. I've applied to both University of Illinois at Chicago and University of Florida.

I've unknowingly sent the SOP in which UIC was mentioned in last paragraph to UFL. The same SOP mentioning UIC was uploaded online in the application of UFL.

Please let me know if I have to write a mail to UFL saying I've sent a wrong copy. Will take this seriously and it will effect my admission consideration ?

It might affect your admission dude. This is a kinda serious issue.

The only way you can rectify this mistake is by writing a whole new SOP and sending it to both the univs.

If you just change the last paragraph, then they will know that you've been sending the same thing everywhere.
