    Query on univ. selection

    Hi,
    GRE:304(Quants:157 and Verbal:147)
    Toefl:105
    Ielts:6.5(Minimum 6 in all bands)
    UG:74.33%
    12 std:86%
    10 Std:81%

    Currently working in TCS for last 10 months and will be having 1.2 years while applying.Worked in airtel before joining in TCS for 5 months.Did 1 international paper and 3 paper presentations in UG.Did 2 implant trainings and one intern in my UG.Having a decent profile for extra-curricular activities from my school days and have been organizer for tech.events in my college

    Based on your academic records, I can say you can get most of the univs you have mentioned. Not sure about Arizona, but everything else is fine.

    UTD might be higher considering your GRE score, but your acads will compensate for it.

    Use ur toefl score. its better than ur ielts score.

    as for chances -

    1.UTD - moderate chances (favourable though)

    2.UTA - safe

    3.Okla.State - safe

    4.Sunny - which SUNY are u talking abt?

    5.Wiki.State univ - wiki? u mean wichita state?

    6.UF(electrical) - gettable

    7.USC - moderate

    8.NJIT - safe

    9.Arizona state - gettable

    10.George Mason - very safe

    11.Northeastern - safe

    12.UIC - safe

    13.UNCC - safe...

    look at a few more ambitious options like - OSU, U penn, U mass, John hopkins, UCSD etc.
