u can just take up an idea and do ur own project....maybe show it to ur faculty, submit it at various symposiums etc....
and TAMU is out...U Mass may be moderate

plz suggest me some good universities for signal processing with moderate fees and good job oppurtunities....thnx for ur support
am not sure of fees...u gotta look at the fees section of the univ website. or wat i suggest is to google for "xyz university indian student association"...contact them and get details abt expenses.....as for jobs, its all in ur hands. unlike india, in US u wont get jobs just cuz u studied at a good uni. I knw a guy who passed out from Texas tech, but was very good at his subject and excellant at explaining his ideas. he landed a package of $75,000 with a company....same year another frend of mine from UCSD couldn fare better than 40k.

pls suggest me some universities good in electrical&electronics engineering stream for my profile....so dat i can short list my univ's
that part u ought to do cuz thts the hard part and it varies based on ur interest...look at locations, weather, cost etc....make a rough list it can be refined later on here.
